Midsummer Night’s Dream in Full Bloom
What they say about those summer nights really is true: the magic is real.
The perfect weather, the spectacular flowers - and yes, all the magic - came out in full beauty for first-time parents-to-be Julie and Keenan, for their Summer maternity session at the stunning All Who Wander Flower Farm in Dundas, Ontario.
Of course, furbabies are not just welcome but always encouraged to attend sessions, and their sweet pup Oliver joined in for the fun (although I did sense he thought this shoot was for him and I didn’t have the heart to tell him he won’t be their centre of attention soon…).
One of my favourite Summer locations, this private floral oasis is nothing short of a photographer’s dream. On this evening like so many, you could see why. Spending time with such wonderful clients, sharing stories, excitement and anticipation for all that’s to come in their next family chapter, was also a dream come true.
The best part: Julie and Keenan booked not just a maternity session, but also their newborn photos, as part of a bundled discount package. I truly can’t wait to see them (and Oliver!) again, to meet and capture their daughter earthside.
After all, this is what dreams are made of.
