Welcome Baby Easton

It’s always so meaningful and special to have the privilege of capturing families at different milestones and moments: to see them grow, begin new chapters and share this journey of life together.

This past fall, Monica, Helder, their senior pup Bronco and I met to document their baby bump for maternity photos. I was thrilled to hear about baby Easton’s safe and healthy arrival at the beginning of this year, and it was a joy to be invited back to capture this fleeting newborn stage for them all in their Mississauga home.

Of course, I’m not sure who was more excited to introduce baby Easton, his parents or his furry big brother, who was equally as proud and protective in his new role.

As our own family was created via fertility treatments (we like to say, a lot of love and a little bit of science!), photographing and sharing stories and journeys with others who have also had to navigate this world has been so emotional and important to support one another through the lows, the highs and everything in between that we understand through shared experiences, heartbreaks and joy. Thank you, Monica and Helder for sharing your story.

Oh, sweet Easton - you are so very loved, and so very wanted. Welcome sweet boy!
